People please just CHILL about the foot thing! It's definatelly a very different from the usual, a more sensual type of theme but in no means has to be perverted or fetishist. People come from different cultures and value different things. I've read that in China for example, there is a water culture where washing and cleansing the feet is a very important part of the culture and it symbolises many things like purifying the feet after a hard day's work. The feet do a lot of work for us humans and should be appreciated. And now I remember that I've seen it in Chinese films that when the wives of a rich man/emperor or whatever get pregnant they get special foot massages because it is believed to be good for the mom&child or helps get a baby boy etc. Maybe it's not what the modern kids nowdays do or value but it is part of their history nonetheless.
I like the subject. It's not simple as in just posing characters, it has somesort of a message in it and it seems to shock some people even :P. There has to be some kind of an expression between the two twins. To me it just means the twins are very close to each other on a whole different level which I think is ftting because they are twins and maybe share somekind of a strong feeling of connection.
So it's up to you how you choose to interpret it really. and BTW foot massage feels very very good because there are a lot of nerves in the foot and it's something we use daily and wear out all the time for most people. It helps relax and get invigorated. Just try it. Artistically a foot is also another beautiful part of the body to be drawn. Tbh I draw a lot so I also have a favourite bodypart and that is the human back. I love backs, they are beautiful imho but I'm not expecting everyone to agree with me, it's just my tastes.

Thanks and BTW I did not mean to sound aggressive and I hope nobody was offended by what I wrote. That wasn't my intention. I just felt like giving a different kind of opinion/view on the subject. The artists have the full freedom of choosing how to interpret the theme in their own way and it can be just a fun joyous event like the feeling I get from Piglous(awesome)work btw. :P

Thanks to like the subject ^^
I fully agree with your remarks, and you found the correct english expression to translate the french expression "relation fusionnelle" when you say "the twins are very close to each other on a whole different level"
I said on the first page that some people certainly need to be born twin to fully understand us. We are absolutely not perverted (or depraved ), we just need to be always very close each other, and when my sister becomes sick, my first reflex is to help her. Because it's the most important person in the world for me.
And if I like feet, I'm not fetishist. I like beautiful eyes too, and other, I don't become an eyes fetishist! Nian explains correctly my feeling when she says feet massages are excellent to invigorate a sick, especially my cooled down twin.
The scene shows only a warrior girl taking care of her indispensable twin ^^'

*cough* Varda had just removed her message, but I think the question was interessant : is eagle armor absolutely needed for the contest ?
Answer is : No.
My sister and me have each one a lot of armors (17 ?) Our actual favorites are Eagle armor and Marhan' Grotto gladiator armor (opening message has been edited with new pictures).
But only theme is not free. Armor choice is free. And if you want, you can draw us with a beautiful dress!

I really like the idea behind this contest, so I decided to join in on the fun as well. My first real photoshop project to be honest. I usually only mess around in PS, I used to make signatures sometimes, but this is different. I really enjoy it.
This is my WIP, it's not much since I just started but I want to show something
Never knew feet were that difficult to draw, I'm happy with the outcome so far though.
Note that this is just part of a much bigger scene.

Pumpkin> That's really a lovely work!
We are very impressed by your photomontage (I hope this word exists in english!) Usually, they are rarely successful ^^
Your idea for the pose is excellent!!
Naturally, this work has been registered as a new entry.
Varda> We are curious to see the result with the dresses, you know
Seren!ty> Your first Photoshop project ? Woow!! You have certainly a hightly capable tutorial ^^ Body parts seem already greatly mastered. Like for Varda, we are really looking forward to see the final version!
Don't hesitate to publish your WIP! It's always very interesting to be the witness of the art's progress!

A minor update:
Human anatomy is hard @.@. Having some trouble getting the back to look right, maybe it will look better when I add some armor on her.

*cough* Varda, be careful... It's not exactly the theme...
I previously posted a photo to show a foot bath with foot massages (here)
Pumpkin> I was correct with the meaning of "photomontage", great!
ヽ(´ー`)ノ> *Oh! What a strange name!* Euh... You are welcome in the contest, mysterious character
Seren!ty> Your choice about the perspective is audacious, but that looks very good for the moment ^^

Quick preview of mine ^^
Should hopefully have it done by the deadline
[EDIT]
Another Preview (don't mind the slightly dark lighting, it's still very much a work in progress)
